CMAI to initiate free online programmes on e-transactions

Information and technology industry body Communications and Manufacturing Association of India (CMAI) will soon impart training on digital transactions in a bid to ensure safer and secure e-transactions.

The free of cost online training programmes will educate people on the use of e-transaction. This will further develop a digital economy in the country.

“CMAI plans to initiate an online free training programs and large scale education on the use of e-transaction and transformation of India to a digital economy,” said CMAI President NK Goyal.

He said demonetisation has brought about a radical change in the society by curbing black money, fake currency and illegal usage of currency for terrorist activities.

On November 8, midnight, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called off the usage of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes from the midnight.
