Daman Soni who was heading the marketing and growth department of digital payments brand Mobikwik has quit the brand.
Soni’s exit is the second major shuffle after Vineet Singh, who quit the company as Chief Business Officer in April this year.
Soni joined the brand in December 2016 in a bid to boost the company’s growth. While the firm witnessed a growth as compared to its previous reports but it is significantly lower than the rival brands available in the market.
He joins the list of executives who left the brand namely Rukaiya Rangwala and Vivek Sinha who quit in May. While Rangwala was appointed as the head of payment gateway business at Mobikwik and Sinha was the heading the retail business department.
The Gurgaon-based mobile wallet form recently activated Unified Payments Interface with its own ‘ikwik’ handle, aiming to expand its digital payments business.
