MeitY sets up Grievance redressal website for GST

For creating better awareness on issues pertaining to Goods and Services Tax (GST), Ministry of electronics and information technology has launched a grievance redressal website.

The site would handle queries or complaints on GST in Electronics/IT sectors.

Ajay Kumar, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and IT Government of India, tweeted about the update recently.

The complainant has to visit -http://meity.gov.in/GST/gst-grievance-ict-e for filling their grievance.

The site reads, GST Grievance for ICT & E, if you want to lodge a complaint, all you have to do is to fill in the following grievance registration form!

The central government also has Twitter a handle namely @askGST_GoI for queries on GST.

For ensuring greater popularity and acceptability,  Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is roped in as the brand ambassador of GST .Ahead of the sweeping tax reform’s implementation scheduled from July 1, the Central Board of Excise and Customs has posted a 40-second video featuring the star.
