LIC Recruitment 2019: LIC Assistant Exam postponed, check new dates here

The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India has announced that it has postponed the date of Assistant post preliminary examination.

The examination which was scheduled to be held on 21 and 22 October will now be held on 30 October I.e. Wednesday and 31st October I.e. Thursday, 2019.

The candidates who have already applied for the examination can appear for the same on the scheduled date and time.

The official states that “It has been decided to reschedule the dates for Preliminary Examination for all the Divisions. Now the Preliminary Examination for the Divisions will be held on 30th & 31st of October 2019. All other conditions and clauses of the recruitment process will remain unchanged”

To appear for the examination, the candidate needs to download the admit card from the LIC official website.

The admit card for appearing in the examination will be made available soon.

Pattern of Examination

The Examination will be of 100 marks which will include questions from Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability, and English/ Hindi Language.

The candidates who will clear the prelims exam will have to appear for LIC Assistant Mains Exam.

The Main exam will be conducted online and will be of 200 marks.

Vacancies Details

The examination will be held to fill in the vacancies for 7,871 Assistant posts in Northern Zone, North Central Zone, East Central Zone, Eastern Zone, Central Zone, South Central Zone, Southern Zone and Western Zone of India.
