PayU India names Shantanu Preetam as Chief Technology Officer

Digital payments solution provider PayU has appointed of Shantanu Preetam as its new Chief Technology Officer. As a part of his new role, Preetam will be based out of Bengaluru and head technological innovations and engineering at PayU.

Shantanu PreetamHe holds more than two decades of experience around software products and driving digital transformation strategy.

In its official communiqué the firm names Shantanu an expert in creating “customer-first” technology solutions. The statement also states that he has led several omni-channel and e-commerce platforms, transportation systems enabling fulfilment & last mile, and CRM systems for Fortune 100 companies & start-ups. Prior to this appointment, he was associated with Walmart where he helped in developing the core e-commerce systems, driving end-to-end cloud transformation and facilitating growth.
