Paytm names Bhavesh Gupta as CEO for its lending segment

Paytm has appointed Bhavesh Gupta, as the new Chief Executive Officer of the company’s lending business. Bhavesh will be developing and expanding Paytm’s lending services for strengthening the company’s vision of financial inclusion for 500 Milion Indians. Under his leadership, the company is planning to offer new credit products to millions of Indians & SMEs in asocaition with other banks and NBFCs. Bhavesh will be reporting to Amit Nayyar, President at Paytm.

Bhavesh holds over two decades of experience. He led the digital transformation projects of some of the top retail banks and NBFCs in India. Prior to this appointment, he was the Founding Member & CEO of Clix Capital, earlier known as GE Capital India.
