U GRO Capital, SME lending fintech platform has appointed Pia Shome as Chief People Officer.
As a part of her new role, Pia will be responsible for building a skilled employee base as the company is expanding its geographical reach and physical presence to 100 GRO Micro Branches in the coming year.
She will also be augmenting the culture of high performance and meritocracy while setting up clear career progression programmes for U GRO Capital employees.
Pia has more than 16 years of experience in the BFSI sector. Prior to joining U GRO Capital, she was Heading the Human Resources department at SMEcorner. She has worked with IDFC First Bank, RBL Bank, DBS Bank, Barclays Bank and TCS eServe International.
She led several leadership roles across various verticals like Business Partnering, Recruitment, Rewards and Recognition, Campus Relations, Talent Management and Learning & Development.
