PNB Housing Finance has reaffirmed its commitment to women’s empowerment and gender diversity with this inauguration. It seeks to create a special and encouraging atmosphere where women may thrive in both the personal and professional areas of life and contribute to the economic advancement of the country by developing an all-women branch.
Additionally, this is the company’s 100th office nationwide, committed to providing clients with inexpensive home finance options through its affordable segment programme Roshni. The programme is in perfect harmony with the company’s goals of growing its clientele and making its goods and services more widely available.
Girish Kousgi, MD & CEO, PNB Housing Finance, stated, “As a progressive housing finance company, we recognize the importance of gender diversity and inclusivity in the workplace. Our first ever all-women branch will help foster an environment where women can thrive, build their skills and contribute to the success of the organization. Further, this being our 100th branch for Roshni home loans, reaffirms our dedication to offering affordable and accessible financing solutions, thereby fulfilling the home ownership dreams of a diverse customer base. We are quite optimistic about the growth opportunities in the affordable segment and are looking forward to adding 60 more Roshni branches as a strategic step in that direction. Tamil Nadu is an attractive market for us and we will continue to solidify our presence in the state with our offerings.”
As of September 30, 2023, the company had disbursed around INR 750 crores under Roshni, exhibiting a growth of approximately 65% on a quarterly basis. By the conclusion of the current fiscal year, it hopes to have 22 Roshni branches throughout the state of Tamil Nadu, up from its present total of 14. With an average ticket size of about INR 15 lacs, it is expected to significantly increase the portfolio of the affordable category because of its quick disbursement growth.
