Vijayalakshmi Natarajan joins PNB MetLife as new Chief Risk & Compliance Officer

PNB MetLife, a life insurance company, has announced the appointment of Ms. Vijayalakshmi Natarajan as the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer (CRCO). Bringing over thirty years of rich experience in the sector, Natarajan’s recruitment highlights PNB MetLife’s dedication to maintaining high standards of compliance, governance, and effective risk management.

Effective March 8, Natarajan has taken charge of overseeing enterprise compliance, risk management strategies, the establishment and execution of internal controls, and the formulation of policies and procedures. Her role extends to managing the Fraud Control Unit (FCU), Government Relations (GR), and Internal Financial Controls (IFC).

Natarajan’s previous roles include significant contributions at SBI Life Insurance, LIC, and Aviva Life Insurance. Her extensive background in Commerce, coupled with her credentials as a Cost and Works Accountant and Fellowships in Life Insurance from the IIB and Underwriting from the Academy of Life Underwriting, USA, enriches her professional portfolio.
