Bank of India expands reach with 111 new branches across India

Bank of India (BOI) has inaugurated 111 new branches across the country in a major step toward strengthening its national presence. The virtual launch was led by Mr. Rajneesh Karnatak, Managing Director & CEO, emphasising the bank’s commitment to expanding financial accessibility and fostering economic growth.

The newly established branches span multiple regions, reinforcing BOI’s footprint in both urban and semi-urban areas. The Hyderabad FGMO (Field General Manager Office) recorded the highest number of new openings, with 17 branches, followed by Chennai (14), Pune (13), and New Delhi (12). Further expansions were seen in Bhopal (11), Chandigarh (10), and Lucknow (10).

Speaking on this development, Mr. Rajneesh Karnatak stated:

This expansion strengthens our presence in key urban and semi-urban centers, bringing banking services closer to our customers. By increasing our branch network, we aim to enhance accessibility, improve customer convenience, and provide a more personalized banking experience. We remain bound to provide seamless financial access, supporting small businesses, and empowering individuals with the resources they need to grow and thrive. This initiative aligns with our broader vision of driving financial inclusion and contributing to the nation’s economic growth.
