Bank of India Mutual Fund has debuted the Bank of India Banking & Financial Services Fund, a specialised open-ended equity option crafted to foster enduring capital gains through primary stakes in companies powering India’s BFSI domain.
The nation’s financial ecosystem embodies its broader economic surge, boosted by loan proliferation, inclusive banking outreach, digital upgrades, income escalation, and market formalisation trends. Over two decades, the Nifty Financial Services TRI has multiplied nearly 28-fold, outstripping wider indices and affirming its wealth-building prowess. Investors can now engage with this prolonged boom via exposures to banks, NBFCs, fintech disruptors, insurers, and capital market facilitators central to India’s advancement.
Benchmarked to the Nifty Financial Services TRI, the scheme ignores rigid market-cap boundaries, embracing top-tier firms, consistent performers, and emerging forces. It deploys a multifaceted framework, merging macro sector scans with micro stock picks via in-depth research, to target pioneers, reliable scalers, and dynamic high-flyers. Nilesh Jethani of Bank of India Investment Managers Private Limited steers the fund.
The NFO window spans January 8 to January 22, 2026, with a ₹5,000 entry threshold, ₹1 subsequent additions, and a 1% exit charge for sales within 60 days. Tailored for patient investors chasing BFSI momentum through data-backed decisions, it suits those tolerant of volatility.
