Bengaluru: Groww’s cofounders are planning to launch a new startup investment fund of ₹400–500 crore under Stargazer Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) to support India’s growing startup ecosystem, with a strong focus on seed and early-stage ventures.
The proposed fund will be backed entirely by the personal capital of Lalit Keshre, Ishan Bansal, Harsh Jain, and Neeraj Singh, without raising money from external limited partners. The founders aim to leverage their entrepreneurial experience to back the next generation of innovative startups.
The fund will primarily invest in consumer internet and deeptech startups, while placing increasing emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI) and other frontier technologies. The strategy reflects the growing investor interest in AI-driven innovation and India’s expanding technology startup landscape.
By focusing on early-stage companies, the Groww founders seek to support entrepreneurs during the critical phases of product development and business scaling, providing both capital and strategic guidance.
