Bengaluru, August 31, 2026: Blue Machines AI, an advanced agentic customer experience (CX) operating system for enterprises, has announced Project Icebreaker, a sovereign AI co-innovation programme aimed at accelerating the adoption of production-ready AI across India’s banking and financial services sector.
Ahead of the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2026, the company plans to partner with five financial institutions in India, including banks, NBFCs, insurers and fintechs, to take ambitious CX AI initiatives from proof-of-concept stages into production.
Under the programme, Blue Machines AI will provide participating institutions with access to its AI platform and proprietary technology, along with solution architecture, engineering, enterprise integrations, model configuration, testing, deployment and production support. The agreed platform and engineering capacity will be offered at no cost to selected organisations.
Project Icebreaker is designed to move beyond conventional AI demonstrations by enabling agentic customer journeys that can understand context, interact with enterprise systems, execute permitted actions and coordinate across digital channels and human teams.
The initiative places a strong emphasis on sovereign AI, allowing financial institutions to maintain control over their data, models, workflows and deployment architecture. Blue Machines AI’s platform can operate within an enterprise VPC, private cloud or on-premise environment, supporting the security, compliance and data-governance requirements of regulated organisations.
Abhishek Ranjan, Chief Technology Officer, Blue Machines AI, said production-grade AI in BFSI must go beyond generating accurate responses and should securely integrate with enterprise systems while operating within clearly defined, traceable and auditable guardrails.
The programme will invite AI initiatives spanning customer acquisition, onboarding, lending, collections, servicing, payments, insurance, claims, renewals, wealth management, grievance resolution and customer support across voice, chat, web, email and other digital channels.

For each selected initiative, Blue Machines AI and the participating institution will jointly establish the deployment architecture, implementation roadmap, responsibilities and measurable success metrics, with the objective of demonstrating how sovereign agentic AI can deliver tangible customer, operational and commercial outcomes at scale.
