Axis Finance Appoints Abhishek Bose as Chief Data Officer to Drive AI and Data Transformation

Mumbai: Axis Finance Limited has appointed Abhishek Bose as its Chief Data Officer (CDO), reinforcing the company’s commitment to strengthening its data, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital capabilities as it accelerates its technology-led transformation journey.

In his new role, Bose will lead the company’s enterprise-wide data strategy, enhance analytics-driven decision-making, and spearhead data-first initiatives to support business growth, innovation, and operational excellence. His appointment reflects Axis Finance’s continued focus on leveraging advanced analytics and AI to build smarter, faster, and more customer-centric financial solutions.

Abhishek Bose brings over 20 years of experience in data science, analytics, and enterprise data transformation across the financial services sector. Prior to joining Axis Finance, he served as Executive Vice President and Head of Data Science at Tata Capital, where he led strategic data initiatives and developed advanced analytics capabilities to improve business performance and customer outcomes.

Earlier in his career, Bose held senior leadership positions at Prudential plc, YES BANK, and TransUnion CIBIL Limited, where he played a key role in building data-driven ecosystems, strengthening risk and analytics functions, and driving enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.
