Bandhan Bank has announced the inauguration of its Kolkata Mega Currency Chest. This currency chest assists the bank in cash management for the state of West Bengal’s 1,757 banking locations and ATMs.
The currency chest is located in the city’s New Town neighbourhood. This is the Bank’s third giant currency vault, with the other two located in Patna and Guwahati.
The currency chest was inaugurated by Shri Gunveer Singh, Chief General Manager of the Reserve Bank of India. The launching of the Kolkata currency chest was attended by Shri Chandra Shekhar Ghosh, MD & CEO of Bandhan Bank, as well as other senior executives.
Bandhan Bank currently has over 1 crore customers in West Bengal. In the Kolkata region, the bank has 182 bank branches.
