Bank of America has appointed former Chief Information Officer (CIO) at HSBC India, Nilesh Mhatre has as its new CIO.
Mhatre has more than 25 years of experience in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance sector. He has several years of exposure to diversified technologies in the banking and financial services domain.
In 1991, he started working with HSBC India. At HSBC, he was involved in conceptualization, planning and execution of all software delivery initiatives across the Group’s customer interface departments in India.
He was involved in various roles pertaining to IT governance support in the APAC region, including Sri Lanka, Mauritius and Bangladesh at HSBC India.
As the CIO at HSBC India, his role involved providing IT governance support in the APAC region, including Sri Lanka, Mauritius and Bangladesh.
