Bank of Baroda elevates Akhil Handa as Chief Digital Officer

Akhil Handa

Public lender Bank of Baroda has elevated Akhil Handa as the new Chief Digital Officer. Prior to this position, Handa was appointed as the Head (Fintech, Partnerships, Mobile Banking) & Digital Lending Department. He joined Bank of Baroda in 2015.

Earlier, he was associated with Union Ministry of Finance, Confederation of Indian Industry and the member of Member – Women Entrepreneurship Platform ( WEP) Investment Council.

Also, he was the Member, Committee for Aatmanirbhar MSME at Government of India. The mandate of the committee is to make a one-stop-shop for all central and state government schemes under the Chairmanship of MD, SBI.

He has been a fintech entrepreneur, industry analyst and investment banker with JP Morgan. He was also the founding member of CAG.

Handa has done B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
