BharatPe Set to Appoint Yugal Tiwari as Chief Product Officer

BharatPe is set to appoint Yugal Tiwari, former Senior Vice President – Product at Paytm, as its Chief Product Officer (CPO), strengthening the fintech company’s product leadership as it continues to expand its digital payments and financial services ecosystem.

Tiwari brings extensive experience in fintech, digital payments and financial product development, with a career spanning several leadership roles across India’s rapidly evolving digital financial services sector.

A significant part of his professional journey has been with Paytm and Paytm Payments Bank, where he held multiple senior positions and played an important role in developing and scaling digital products. His experience includes driving core product strategies, strengthening consumer-facing platforms and managing product ecosystems supporting large-scale digital transactions.

At Paytm, Tiwari was involved in building and scaling products designed for a large and diverse user base, gaining experience across product development, customer interfaces and transaction-led digital services. His association with Paytm Payments Bank also provided exposure to banking and financial technology operations at scale.

Before his proposed move to BharatPe, Tiwari also worked with CRED, adding further experience in building technology-driven consumer financial products.

His appointment comes as BharatPe continues to strengthen its presence across digital payments and financial services. The company has been expanding beyond its merchant payments business, with a growing focus on creating technology-led solutions for merchants and consumers.

With his background in product strategy, digital payments and fintech platforms, Tiwari is expected to bring significant expertise to BharatPe’s product organisation.
