Sharath Pareddy has been appointed as the Head of Credit and Analytics – India by Branch International, a San Francisco-based fintech with operations in Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, and India.
Sharath, an IIT Kharagpur graduate, has worked in the analytics and data science area across businesses for over 12 years, most recently with financial services and retail organisations. He has established and managed highly competent and responsible teams for firms such as DataRobot and Flipkart during his 12 years of working experience. He formerly oversaw the Data Science practise for strategic partners at DataRobot, where he was responsible for developing partner ecosystems and guaranteeing partner-driven growth.
Sharath will be responsible for driving the credit strategy and establishing a world-class analytics team at Branch, ensuring that the business continues to grow in India while preserving and enhancing profitability. Branch presently has offices in four countries, including San Francisco, Lagos, Nairobi, and Mumbai.

Sharath hopes to assist the Branch in becoming more data and AI-driven while solving unsolved global problems.
