Bombay Stock Exchange Institute Limited (BIL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Techno India University in Kolkata for offering specialised programmes in Finance and Financial Markets.
The jointly offered programmes to be offered, will include high end courses in financial markets and Fintech.
In addition to this, it will also include Global Financial Markets Professional (GFMP) Programme, reported The Times of India.
The programmes would be providing knowledge about cash, derivatives, technical analysis, financial modeling, mutual funds, banking operations and whole range of specialised topics. The course consists of four semesters followed by one semester of industrial practice.
“This MOU will give us an opportunity to reach out to bright students in West Bengal as well as states in North Eastern India. I am confident that we will be able to work together to create a pipeline of skilled professionals for the BFSI Industry,” said Ambarish Datta, managing director and chief executive officer, Bombay Stock Exchange Institute Limited (BIL).
