Cloudera names Vinod Ganesan as India Country Head

Cloudera has appointed Vinod Ganesan as its Country Manager for India operations.

Vinod Ganesan Vinod will be responsible for Cloudera’s growth in the region, expansion of its customer base and assist organisations in enhancing the measurable benefits of big data through machine learning and analytics.

Cloudera is a modern platform for machine learning and analytics optimised for the cloud.

Vinod comes with more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry.  He has a sturdy track record of creating and leading high-performing teams to spur business growth, develop C-level strategies, establish strong partner ecosystem and drive employee engagement.

He was Head of BFSI vertical at Hitachi Data Systems, prior to joining Cloudera. He was also associated with several leading technology companies such as Sun Microsystems, Veritas Technologies, Compaq HP, and Ontrack Solution Pvt. Ltd.

Vinod’s appointment comes soon after Cloudera announced the appointment of Scott Aronson as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Services.

Scott has over 20 years of experience across organisations namely Medallia, VMware, Pivotal Software and Silicon Valley venture capital firm Greylock Partners.
