The Government has launched the MUDRA Card, based on Rupay platform.
Hasmukh Adhia, Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance launched the card, which is a part of Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY).

PMMY aims to ‘fund the unfunded’ under non-farm micro units in manufacturing, trading and services with affordable credit up to Rs 10 lakh.
The card has been issued by the Corporation Bank, facilitaing the withdrawal and use of the working capital finance by micro entrepreneurs.
