Dr. Kohli joins the company with a rich background in insurance, finance, telecom, and global technology sectors, known for driving large-scale technology modernisation, cloud adoption, AI initiatives, and data-driven innovation.
In her role at Generali Central Life Insurance, Dr. Kohli will be responsible for shaping the technology vision and platform strategy, enhancing digital customer journeys, and embedding Agile and DevOps practices to improve platform stability and operational efficiency. She will focus on accelerating AI and automation efforts to improve customer experiences while strengthening the company’s competitive edge in the Indian life insurance market.
Before joining Generali, Dr. Kohli served as President of Information Technology & Data at Liberty General Insurance, where she led enterprise-wide modernisation, cloud migration, and the adoption of scalable digital ecosystems. Her past leadership roles include Chief Technology Officer at Universal Sompo General Insurance, CTO and CIO at Manappuram Finance Limited, and Group Executive Vice President of IT and CTO at Bajaj Capital Limited. Her expertise spans cloud architecture, digital product delivery, data engineering, and building high-performing technology teams.
