Dvara Research, a policy research body, appointed Dr Indradeep Ghosh as it’s new Executive Director (ED). As a part of his new role, Dr Ghosh will be closely handling matters of the Dvara Research Board in a bid to drive its research agenda and will lead the research priorities in coordination with the practice heads.
He will lead the overall strategic developments of the company and steer research priorities, partnerships and outreach under each of the initiatives that are aimed towards advancing the company’s mission of ensuring that every individual and every enterprise has complete access to financial services.
Prior to joining Dvara Research, Dr Ghosh was an Associate Professor and Dean (Faculty) at the Meghnad Desai Academy of Economics, Mumbai. He was earlier associated with Haverford College in Philadelphia, USA as an Assistant Professor of Economics. He holds a PhD in Economics from MIT and an MA in Economics from Cambridge University, where he won the Adam Smith Prize given to the top graduating student in the university.
Dr Ghosh holds dense knowledge of research experience rooted in Macroeconomics, Economics Pedagogy and Interdisciplinary/Transdisciplinary Studies. He has a lot of publications accredited to him that are published in reputed research journals. He has delivered lectures at various institutions both in India and abroad.
