Federal Bank introduces Pre-Booking Appointments for visiting branches

In the wake of the outbreak of Covid-19 and the need to maintain social distance, private lender Federal Bank is offering the Pre-Booking Appointments facility for visiting the branches. This will help the customers in avoiding long queues at the branch.

Customers who want to avail this facility can schedule their desired visits themselves online and free of charges. The facility has been titled as FedSwagat and has been rolled out across 50 branches as of now and will be extended further by the end of June 2020.

The lender is already offering a range of services such as opening and closing deposit and loan accounts, fund transfers, getting certificates, statements, cheque books etc. online through its mobile banking and internet banking platforms. Besides, the bank has positioned doorstep ATM service across several cities. The bank is also frequently sanitizing its branches and making it safe for its employees and customers, in views of coronavirus pandemic.

Reservation of slots under the pre-booking appointments can be done on https://www.federalbank.co.in/fed-swagat. Confirmation will be sent via SMS instantly. The service will also be available on mobile apps soon. Non-customers who want to visit the Federal Bank branches can do so by booking their slots.
