Federal-Bank

Federal Bank, India’s top private sector bank has launched SmilePay™,, a ground-breaking technology that will allow customers to make transactions using only their face. This revolutionary product, released as India enters its 78th year of independence, represents a key milestone in its quest for financial freedom and convenience. Shalini Warrier, Executive Director of Federal Bank, launched SmilePay™ during the Global Fintech Fest.
Two of India’s leading business houses, Reliance Retail and Ananya Birla-led Svatantra Micro Housing (SMHFC), are among the first to test this new technology with clients at select shops/branches.

SmilePay™ is India’s first payment system that uses advanced facial verification technology based on UIDAI’s Bhim Aadhaar Pay platform. This groundbreaking solution eliminates the need for traditional payment methods, providing unrivalled convenience to clients and increased efficiency for shops.
