Arun JaitleyUnion Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is all set to chair the 26th Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council meeting today in New Delhi.

“Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs, Arun Jaitley, to chair the 26th meeting of the GST Council on Saturday, March 10, at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi,” tweeted the Ministry of Finance.

Reportedly, matters pertaining to simplification of tax returns and implementation of e-way bill would also be discussed in the meeting.

In addition to this, the agenda of the meeting would comprise the extension of 3B returns, the progress of the revenue generated from the GST and penalty for not adhering to the rules.
