The Fintech Valley Vizag, an initiative of the State government of Andhra Pradesh has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fintech Association of Hong Kong (FTAHK) for promoting the fintech of mutual interest and creating a sustainable ecosystem in the Visakhapatnam city.
IT Advisor to Chief Minister J.A. Chowdary and FTAHK director Karen Farzam and founding member Syed Musheer Ahmed signed the MoU in Hong Kong.
The MoU aims at enabling mutual contribution to nurturing fintech ecosystem, collaborating in the implementation of initiatives and supporting each other in interfacing with their respective market regulators.
FTAHK is an independent not-for-profit entity representing the fintech community. It said that it would send a team for participation in the Vizag Fintech Festival, going o be organised from October 22 to 26. They are planning to ink a detailed MoU with Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naidu during the festival.
