Technology giant Google has appointed Anil Bhansali as the new Vice President of Engineering for its Cloud division Google Cloud.
Prior to joining Google, Bhansali was associated with Microsoft for 28 years. He last served as the Corporate Vice President of Azure cloud division and site leader for R&D team in India.
As a part of his new role, Bhansali will be coordinating with all software development efforts for the search giant’s cloud business in India.
Announcing the appointment, Google Cloud India tweeted, “We are excited to welcome @bhansalianil, as the new Vice President of Engineering of @GoogleCloud_IN. He will drive software development support efforts for #India to deliver solutions for customers faster and with greater impact.”
