Technology giant IBM has appointed Deepali Naair as its Chief Marketing Officer for India and South East Asia operations. Nair would be replacing Vasantha Kumar, who was associated with IBM for almost nine years.
The appointment has been confirmed by Karan Bajwa, Managing Director of IBM India in a tweet yesterday.

Prior to joining IBM, Nair was associated with IIFL Wealth Management Ltd as Chief Marketing and Digital Officer. She will now be responsible for driving the marketing agenda for IBM’s India and South East Asia business.
She holds over 20 years of experience in Marketing, E-commerce, Brand, Product and Sales. Naair was earlier appointed at leadership positions in Mahindra, L&T Financial Services Group and HSBC.
Her work experience also includes brands namely Tata Motors, BPL Mobile, Draft FCB-Ulk, Saffola, and Marico.
She had been associated with a long list of financial services such as HSBC Global Asset Management and L&T insurance, L&T Financial Services IPO and L&T Infrastructure Bonds.
Deepali holds a master degree with a specialisation in marketing from Sydenham Institute of Management & Research, University of Mumbai.
