IDBI Bank has named Samuel Joseph Jebaraj as its new Deputy Managing Director. Prior to joining IDBI Bank, Jebaraj was associated with Exim Bank as its Chief General Manager. He holds more than 27 years of experience, of which 21 years had been with Exim Bank.
He holds an Engineering degree in Electronics & Communications from the Madurai Kamaraj University and is also an MBA with specialisation in Finance from the Bharathidasan Institute of Management, Tiruchirappalli.
During his stint with Exim Bank, Samuel Joseph Jebaraj chaired various verticals such as corporate banking, SME, treasury, accounts, audit, taxation, IT, loan recovery as well as Human Resources Management.
While being associated with the Exim Bank, he was posted in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Milan and London Offices in various capacities. He had also worked with Mercantile Securities Ltd and Industrial Finance Corporation of India
