Private Lender ICICI Bank has reportedly trimmed its employee notice period from 90 days to 30 days, said the lender in a communication to its employees. The reduced notice period, will come into effect from June 17 and will be applicable to the employees who belong to Managerial positions of its internal MMII grade and below, reported ET.
In its communication, the bank stated that the decision was initiated after receiving several requests from employees. It said that it received multiple requests from its employees who have decided to put down their papers and faced difficulty in serving the notice period of 90 day due to various constraints created by the current situation.
Besides, the revised notice period will be applicable to the employees who are in the probation period, said ICICI bank. If employees, who have resigned, want to get relieved earlier than 30 days, they may request for the lender and with the supervisor’s consent for a suitable date.
