With an aim to generate awareness on issues of social concern, one of India’s largest Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) IIFL Finance, along with IIFL Foundation, recently unveiled a new community connect programme titled “IIFL Milan”.
The NBFC under the programme organised “Rangon Ka Milan” Drawing and Slogan contest on 1,240 IIFL branches in a single day in more than 700 cities and towns across the country.
The contests were organised encircling topics such as “A Healthy India”, “Educated Girl Child” and “Water Conservation” and over 39,200 citizens across age-groups participated in the contest. This move not only helped the firm in showcasing the level of creativity of the young talents but also helped in generating awareness on social causes.
“IIFL Finance is a responsible organisation pursuing ESG, i.e., Environmental, Social and Governance, goals among its prime objectives. IIFL Milan is a step further in giving back to our community members who have helped us grow in the past 13 years. Through “Rangon Ka Milan”, we have contributed towards raising awareness on issues related to the environment, education of girl child and good health,” said Sumit Bali, CEO of IIFL Finance.
