Showing signs of popularity, Indian start-ups have raised around $12.3 billion in last one year (till September) in 1,025 rounds, as reported by research firm Tracxn data.
The data reports a major jump in the investment graph with a figure of $10.5 billion, as compared to last year’s data.
It shows that with an improvement in ease of doing business and levelled-up tech regulation, India is rapidly emerging as the upcoming startups and innovation hub in the world.
Further, the September data suggests that start-ups fetched $611 million investment across 74 funding rounds.
In the last quarter alone, startups raised around $3.2 billion out of 241 deals.
As per the data, consumer-based financial services got over 8.2 billion venture capital investment. The retail and enterprise services got around $2.3 billion and $1.5 billion, respectively.
