Fortinet, a global leader in cybersecurity solutions, today announced that it has been chosen by India’s leading domestic flyer IndiGo for providing business-critical solutions across its branches.
India’s largest airline IndiGo has deployed Fortinet Secure SD-WAN solution across its branch offices to secure its WAN edge.
IndiGo has a market share of 46.9 percent as of March, 2019 and it connects to 58 domestic and 19 international destinations and operates over1300 flights every day.
The airlines growing passenger traffic with low MPLS network and Internet quality had resulted in chaotic circumstances, It caused delays across customers accessing their applications for flight booking, call centres, airport counters and flight status checking, adversely affecting their business.
To avoid delays and offer the best possible user experience for business-critical applications, the airline decided to deploy a hybrid WAN model, levelling-up its 54 airport counters, for distributing traffic over a variety of links, including MPLS, Broadband and Internet Leased Line.IndiGoselected FortinetSecure SD-WAN solution to provide best of breed SD-WAN integrated with security capabilities with one single offering.
