IndusInd Bank appoints Shiv Kumar Bhasin as Chief Transformation Officer. Bhasin spent more than four years at National Stock Exchange as EVP and Group Chief Technology and Operations Officer.
Bhasin is regarded as a transformative leader by his peers in the IT and BFSI sectors. He has approximately 28 years of international expertise in banking and financial services.
He has led IT strategy and technology efforts at Fortune 500 businesses such as State Bank of India, Barclays, and Fidelity Investments, in addition to an outstanding career at India’s biggest stock exchange and the world’s largest derivatives exchange by contract volume.

As EVP and CTO/COO at NSE, he was essential in building the exchange a strong, resilient, and scalable platform by employing agile, cutting-edge, and cognitive technologies to improve the exchange’s performance, security, and efficiency.
During his stint as SBI’s worldwide CTO, he was a key architect in the creation of India’s first full digital banking and services platform, SBI YONO, which purportedly became the world’s first digital bank to break even in less than two years.
