Apple is planning to hire a business development manager with experience in alternative and emerging payment solutions. According to a new job listing, Apple is willing to hire someone to lead its alternative payments partnership programme.
The job listing reads that the potential candidate must have 10 years of experience, with over six years in business development in financial services.
The company stated that it wants a candidate with more than five years of experience with alternative payments providers. Although this job posting does directly indicate Apple’s plans to enter the virtual currency segment but it shows that the company is paying more attention to cryptocurrency.
“We are looking for a proven professional in global alternative and emerging payment solutions,” said in the job posting.
Lately, the digital currency has reported a visible growth in its value and popularity over the last year and several companies have shown their involvement in the market.
