Poonawalla group led Magma Fincorp Ltd has appointed Sanjay Miranka as its new Group Chief Financial Officer (Group CFO). His appointment came into effect on 2nd July 2021.
“Sanjay joins us at this important phase when the company is going through a strategic shift,” said Abhay Bhutada, Managing Director, Magma Fincorp.
“I am certain that his deep and extensive experience across a diverse set of industries including both asset and liability side of a lending business, his drive for operational excellence and setting up of best practices will benefit us immensely as we continue to position the brand for the future,” added Bhutada.
Sanjay holds more than two decades of experience across sectors namely Financial Services, Edible Commodities and Telecom. Prior to this appointment, he was associated with Aditya Birla Finance Ltd (ABFL) for around 18 years in various leadership positions such as Head of Capital Market Lending Business and later as CFO.

At Magma, Sanjay will work closely with the Managing Director and Group CEO on the strategic transformation and help raise resources, along with regulatory compliance & governance, investor interactions, corporate legal.
