Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be addressing a Press Conference in New Delhi today at 4 P.M. in a bid to announce the fourth tranche of economic package. Sitharaman has already announced several measures in the last three days addresses to boost the economy and bring relief to the people facing financial crisis due to Corona virus outbreak in the country.
In her first tranche, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had announced benefits related to businesses, especially Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSMEs.
The second tranche mentioned short term and long-term measures for supporting the poor, such as migrants, farmers, tiny businesses and street vendors. She had also sataed that government will launch a scheme for migrant workers and urban poor to provide ease of living at affordable rent.
The third tranche was about the farmers and those working in the fields. The sectors comprises of agriculture, fisheries, animal husbandry, Bee Culture, Medicinal plants and supply chain
