State Bank of IndiaIf you are planning to study abroad and looking for a best-suited plan with affordable interest rates, State Bank of India (SBI) has a scheme for you.

India’s largest public sector SBI is now offering Global Ed-Vantage scheme with early approval facility for eligible students.

The bank recently announced the details of the scheme on micro-blogging site Twitter. SBI’s Global Ed-Vantage loan is education scheme exclusively for aspirants willing to pursue courses at foreign colleges or universities.

For further details on the scheme and eligibility criteria, students can visit SBI’s official website: www.sbi.co.in. Under the scheme, students can avail minimum education loan of Rs 20 Lakh and maximum of Rs 1.5 crore.

According to the ministry of external affairs in August 2017, over 5.5 lakh Indian students were studying abroad in 86 countries.  Every year over 2.2 lakh students move out of India for pursuing studies.
