Enterprise cloud computing leader, Nutanix has unveiled a returnship programme exclusively for women, as part of the brand’s ongoing investment in India.
WomEncore, (women encore), will offer opportunities for women whose careers were interrupted owing to family or other reasons, by re-skilling and re-equipping them for a continued career in the digital workplace.
In the initial phase, the programme will target eighty women, including two intakes of forty twice in one year. Every four-month training programme will be comprised of both classroom training and practical workplace experience designed to help them better re-integrate into a digital workforce and provide opportunities for full-time employment.
This initiative is part of Nutanix endeavour to ensure opportunity and choice for women in STEM. Applicants must have a college degree and with two years of work experience.

WomEncore is just one among the several programmes initiated by Nutanix in India. The enterprise leader is also running a successful internship programme for its engineering and product support teams.
