Paytm Founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma India’s 56th richest: Forbes

Paytm CEO and Founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma have been named as the 56th richest person in the Forbes’ list of richest people in India.

His net worth stood at USD 2.35 billion.

The Noida-based company was founded in 2010 and caters its services in 11 Indian languages. It offers services in varied sectors like travel, mobile recharge, bill payments, ticket booking, event booking, in-store payments of the groceries, fruits and vegetables, parking, restaurants using the Paytm QR code.

Paytm has claimed to have more than 350 million users currently.

This year, the Forbes list has six new entrants including the 38-year-old Co-founder and CEO of Byju’s Mr. Byju Raveendran on the 72nd spot with net worth USD 1.9 billion.
