Perfios has announced the appointment of Nitin Chugh as its Managing Director and Group CEO, marking a significant leadership move as the company accelerates its growth and global expansion strategy.
Nitin Chugh will lead the Perfios Group, which includes Clari5, CreditNirvana, and IHX, working closely with the leadership team to drive long-term vision and innovation. Meanwhile, the core Perfios business will continue to be led by Sabyasachi Goswami, ensuring continuity and strong execution as the group scales.
The group brings together capabilities across the financial services lifecycle, including intelligent credit decisioning, real-time fraud detection, digital collections, and healthcare claims automation. With this integrated platform approach, Perfios aims to strengthen its positioning as a comprehensive operating system for BFSI institutions.
Nitin Chugh brings nearly three decades of experience in India’s financial services sector. Most recently, he served as Deputy Managing Director and Head of Digital Banking & Transformation at State Bank of India, where he led large-scale digital initiatives and customer acquisition strategies. He has also held leadership roles as Managing Director and CEO of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank and as Group Head of Digital Banking at HDFC Bank.
Commenting on his appointment, Nitin Chugh said he is excited to lead Perfios at a time when technology is reshaping financial services, insurance, and healthcare. He highlighted the company’s growing momentum in AI-driven capabilities across credit, fraud prevention, risk management, collections, and healthcare claims, noting the potential to enhance efficiency and expand access to formal finance.
