Prime Minister launches incentive scheme for BHIM

In sync with the ”Digitial India” initiative, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has recently launched an incentive programme for BHIM-Aadhaar digital payment platform.

He also announced that every successful referral of the BHIM app will help the users in earning Rs 10, reported The Economic Times.

Under the referral bonus scheme, both the existing user who refers BHIM and the new user who adopts the app would receive cash bonus directly to their account.

“BHIM-Aadhaar digital payments platform can revolutionise the Indian economy by enabling each Indian to pay digitally using their biometric data on a smartphone,” said the Prime Minister, while launching the incentive scheme in Nagpur.

“BHIM-Aadhaar platform would play the same role of empowering the common Indian as the Constitution of India, framed by Bhimrao R. Ambedkar,” he said.
