Prodigy Finance, a social impact driven FinTech and a leading international student loan lender, named Sonal Kapoor as its new Global Chief Commercial Officer. Sonal will be in charge of the company’s global sales strategy and growth strategies.
Prodigy was formed on the concept of breaking down financial obstacles to study for foreign postgraduate students.

Sonal provides over 13 years of strategic leadership expertise in FinTech, e-commerce, product creation and design, and strategic alliances. Sonal comes to us after eight years at Flipkart, where she was Senior Director – Chief of Staff to the CEO. In this role, she served as a vital strategic partner to the CEO and senior team, striving to maximise business outcomes and taking ownership of pushing the Flipkart group’s strategic goal.
Sonal’s new responsibilities will include monitoring and optimising Prodigy Finance’s global commercial operations, building client relationships, and improving overall customer experience.
