Public lender Punjab National Bank (PNB) has named Rajesh Kumar Yaduvanshi as the Executive Director of the bank. His appointment has come into effect from April 15.
Yaduvanshi holds around 34 years of diversified experience in the banking industry, leading several senior positions across the banking sector both in India and abroad, said the bank on its official communiqué.
He was also associated with Dena Bank as its Executive Director. Dena Bank along with Vijaya Bank recently got merged with Bank of Baroda, forming the third largest lender in the country.
Yadivanshi had joined Punjab National Bank as a management trainee in 1985.
He holds a doctorate in science from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi and also a certified associate member of Indian lnstitute of Bankers.
With this new appointment, the bank will now have three Executive Directors, the others being L V Prabhakar and A K Azad.
