R Kesavan, former Executive Director of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL), took over as the government-owned oil and natural gas Company’s Finance Director.
Kesavan is also the Chief Financial Officer at HPCL, as per the firm’s official communiqué. His appointment as the CFO of the state-owned entity came into effect on March 1, 2019.
Prior to this appointment, he was the Executive Director of HPCL’s Corporate Finance division for more than four years. He is also a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
He has over three decades of experience in corporate accounts, audit, treasury management, risk management, budgeting, pricing, corporate strategy and margin management.
A Chartered Accountant, Kesavan is associated with HPCL for 33 years.
