Rajesh Mahadevan named global head at Deutsche Wealth Management

Deutsche Bank Wealth Management has named Rajesh Mahadevan as the new head of global products and solutions (GPS) for emerging markets. Mahadevan  will be based in Singapore.

His appointment will be effective from January. As a part of his new role, he will be extending Deutsche’s product capabilities for clients in the rapidly emerging markets Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa regions.

He is currently based in Dubai, appointed as Global South Asia group head for the Middle East.

Prior to joining Deutsche in 2011, he was responsible for running the investment and sales at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and was earlier the head of investment products at Citigroup.

Deutsche’s wealth management has around €300 billion ($333.5 billion) in assets under management, as of 30 June, 2019. It provides traditional and alternative investment solutions as well as advisory services.
