The RBI has given go ahead to the re-appointment of Anup Bagchi as the Executive Director of private lender ICICI Bank for a tenure of three years. The bank had however approved the appointment for a term for five years.
The Reserve Bank in its written communique dated January 6, 2022, gave go ahead to the re-appointment of Anup Bagchi as an Executive Director of the bank for three years with effect from February 1, 2022, sated ICICI Bank in a regulatory filing.
Last year in August, the shareholders of the bank during the Annual General Meeting had approved Bagchi’s re-appointment for five years effective February 1, 2022.
ICICI Bank has two more executive directors, Sandeep Batra and Vishakha Mulye.
