The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has re-nominated Natarajan Chandrasekaran as the non-official Director on its Central Board, stated that bank in its communiqué.
The central bank re-nominated the Tata Group Chairman, Natarajan Chandrasekaran for two years starting from 3rd March 2020 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The communiqué released on 21st June 2020 said, “The Central Government has re-nominated Shri Natarajan Chandrasekaran as a part-time non-official Director on the Central Board of Reserve Bank of India, for a further period of two years beyond March 3, 2020, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.”

Chandrasekaran had been part of the Tata Company since 1987 and was recently named as the chairman for the Tata Group. He was appointed as the Director of RBI’s central board since 2016.
